At Kennedy Hospice, Inc., we treat everyone with kindness, respect, and honesty. We believe in educating and advising our patients and their family members every step of the way. HOSPICE CARE
Getting You Answers
Physician - Medical Director: Works in conjunction with the patient’s own physician.
Skilled Nurses: Trained specifically to work with pain and other symptom management. Nursing staff is available 24 hours a day.
Medical Social Workers: Trained in end-of-life issues, resource management, and emotional support.
Chaplains: Provide emotional and spiritual support as needed.
Bereavement: Bereavement Support for those who are grieving or facing the death of a loved one.
Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA’s): Their role is designed to provide assistance with personal hygiene.
Volunteers: Provide assistance and loving care through visits, letter-writing, reading, friendship, and more.
Medications Related to Hospice Diagnosis & Medical Equipment: Provided along with other supplies at no additional cost to the patient.
